JANUARY
My amazing Topshop faux fur coat came into my life, inspiring two outfit posts and I set about mastering the 'art' of the flat lay.
FEBRUARY
In February I was drooling over street style from across the pond during New York Fashion Week. I also worked more on my flat lay skills when I reviewed the 'Love Me Beauty' subscription box.
MARCH
In March I wrote my first links round-up, and shared my favourite look at the time - a long-line knit paired with a midi skirt - when the sun miraculously decided to show up. The OOTD also featured my new cross-body bag, which I also did a first impression post on during the month.
APRIL
It was the 1st of April when we received the devastating news that Hedi Slimane was leaving Saint Laurent. Naturally I took to the blog to share my grief, and looked back at all his collections for the house. Regular readers of Girl From North London will know that I do a monthly wish list, and I particularly like the Light Neutrals edition I did for April 2016. Finally, to mark the arrival of Spring I put together a seasonal street style post.
MAY
In May, I thought it was about time that I gave an update on my original post on Public Desire, by sharing the new additions to my PD collection. I also made Summer resolutions and did my first blogger tag when I was nominated for the Liebster Award.
JUNE
I was obsessed with my wrap choker in June (and still am) and apparently it was warm enough to wander round London without a jacket and bare legs?! I also put together a rare beauty post, and I still highly recommend these products so check it out.
JULY
July marked 6 months of vegetarianism for me, so I wrote a post all about why I chose to change my diet, and struggles/points of interest that I discovered in the first 6 months. I also visited Bath, and created a guide to the city. Finally, I talked through the most worn items in my wardrobe and came to the realisation that I need help for my addiction to black.
AUGUST
August is my birthday month, so to mark the occasion I put together my 20 Things for 20 post, where I discussed 10 things that I learnt at 19 and 10 things that I want to achieve before 21. I also went to Japan that month, which was incredible, and created a 3 part series on my travels.
SEPTEMBER
I was loving my area of London in September, featuring Alexandra Palace (one of my favourite spots) and a tumbledown garden in my outfit posts. I also styled my Harajuku choker in 4 ways, which I'm really glad I did because I still wear it all the time!
OCTOBER - NOVEMBER - DECEMBER

Ok so can we please ignore the fact that I had to put the last 3 months of 2016 together because 3rd year hit me like a tonne of bricks. Anyway, from the end of September to the beginning of October I interned at Temperley London, an amazing experience that took me to London Fashion Week and Paris. In November I did The Blogger Tag, and my last post of 2016 was a street style round up dedicated to faux fur (my fave).
I'm going to wrap this up with a quick thank you for reading my blog - if this is the first post you've read or if you've stuck with me through 2016 - and here's to a fabulous, fashionable 2017!
