London Fashion Week AW 15

On the final day of LFW I went along to Somerset House to soak up the atmosphere and take some street style shots for my uni work. I got there pretty early so it was less busy than expected. The sun was shining (for once) so it was perfect timing for taking pictures of street style. Here are some of my favourite shots from the day.

My friends and I then managed to blag our way into the Emilio de la Morena show! We were seat fillers for the FROW, saving spaces for the VIPs who arrived later than everyone else. We were the first people let into the show so we got to see it being set up, and watch the pre-show run through. Once we gave our seats up, we got to watch the show from the back.
The clothes were absolutely gorgeous, I was all over the sparkles, velvet and sheers.

Also in the audience of the show was In The Frow, one of my favourite bloggers and YouTubers. So naturally after the show I caught up with her to say hello and have a quick pic!

I'm in the middle, with inthefrow and my friends (and bloggers) Freya and Aneesha

I had a great day at LFW and hope to go again in September!

STREET STYLE: New York Fashion Week AW 15

Alas, NYFW is over. The shows were stunning, but the fashion off the catwalk was just as stylish as that on. With courtesy to the industry's editors, bloggers and models, the adoring public now have access to an overload of street style pics. I have selected and divided my favourite looks into trends.

Faux fur was a staple for those en-route to shows, either as an accent, or to hide under from the arctic temperatures.

Duster coats were everywhere, keeping the cold out. The tailoring and length gives the coat a powerful vibe. I like it worn draped casually over the shoulders, sleeves left hanging.

I had to include over-the-knee boots as I am obsessed with them a the moment. It seems the FROW are just as infatuated with the boots as I am, seen here in differing colours and fabrics.

This last category is a miss-mash of looks that I just loved too much not to include. I particularly like the coat in the top left and the entire outfit that Leandra Medine (The Man Repeller) is wearing.
